1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Loyal Logic ("we", "us", "DocSanitizer"). By accessing or using the DocSanitizer website (doc.loyallogic.org) or web applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of the Software & Privacy Architecture

DocSanitizer is a privacy-first document sanitization and token optimization utility. All document parsing, regex masking, token counting, and text processing run 100% locally on your device in transient memory (RAM).

        We do not operate backend processing servers for document conversion. We never store, inspect, transmit, or retain any contents of documents processed by you.
      

3. License & Acceptable Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Loyal Logic grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DocSanitizer for personal or commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from compiled proprietary components.
Bypass or attempt to circumvent license verification, offline entitlement caches, or paywall restrictions.
Resell, redistribute, or lease access to the software without prior written consent.

4. Billing, Subscriptions & Merchant of Record

DocSanitizer offers a Free Tier and optional Pro access (Annual Subscription or Lifetime License).

        Our order process on the web is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Inc. ("Paddle"). Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles all payments, tax calculations, and currency conversions.
      

Annual Subscriptions: Billed in advance on a recurring annual basis. Renews automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
Lifetime License: A one-time purchase granting permanent access to Pro features on the web platform.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account receipt link or by contacting support. Your Pro access will remain active through the end of the paid period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for software purchases made through Paddle. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within 14 days of your initial purchase, please contact us for a full refund. See our detailed Refund Policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

DocSanitizer is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our on-device regular expression masking filters common patterns (emails, phone numbers, credit cards, SSNs), the software is a helper tool and does not guarantee 100% detection of all sensitive information.

Users remain responsible for reviewing sanitized text before submitting it to external AI models or services. In no event shall Loyal Logic be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
